The VacFix Storage Cart was specifically designed to meet the need of radiation therapy facilities for a specialized storage system to support the molded cushions used for patient fixation, such as the S & S Par Scientific VacFix cushions.
The cart features multiple bins to safely store and organize the molded cushions. This keeps the cushions off the floor and within easy reach. Use of the cart ensures that the cushions remain clean and protected from damage, thereby extending cushion life.
Moreover, removal of the cushions from the floor around the l
inear
accelerator adds a margin of safety for patients and radiotherapy technologists.
The VacFix Storage Cart is available in two sizes. The large storage cart accommodates 18 torso-molded cushions. The small storage cart, designed for rooms where space is at a premium, holds up to 12 torso-sized cushions.
The cart includes a directional caster to allow for transporting the cart to another room. A locking caster is also standard and provides for additional safety.
