Fab-CheckerTM PVS-14
The FabChecker PVS-14
is a state-of-the-art high resolution, scanning device specifically designed
to evaluate two-dimensional sheet metal parts for accuracy and compliance with
specifications. It scans small-format fabricated parts up to 8.25 x 11.25
inches.
The PVS-14 compares the scanned part with the original CAD drawing (in .DXF format). Dimensions not within the specified tolerances are displayed on the monitor as a different color from the remainder of the drawing, and an SPC compliance report is generated.
The FabChecker can be used to reverse engineer flat sheet metal parts; the system quickly and accurately generates a .DXF file (which can be exported to CAD) from a sample part.
